Inlet Breechings (also called Fire Department Connections, or FDCs) are used in dry riser or wet riser fire fighting systems. These allow fire services to pump water into the system during an emergency.

• Has two inlets for connection with fire hoses.

• Usually fitted with 2 × 2½” male instantaneous connections.

• Connects to a common riser pipe leading to building hydrants or sprinklers.
